Slow and steady wins the race
A loyal man, you set the pace
A worthy lion, full of grace
For whom I want to dress in lace
I feel the passion in your gaze
I want to end in your embrace
An Emperor I need not chase
My Empress's heart begins to race
You’re not afraid to sit and face
The many wounds I can’t erase
And to acknowledge and hold space
For all the hurt that left a trace
With tender care my heart, you brace
With fresh water, you fill my vase
You’re never shy with words of praise
Knowing my confidence they´ll raise
The only one who could amaze
There’s no one else who could replace
At loving me, you are the ace
The man that I want at home base
