I´m just a ghost without a face
Devoid of mass, but full of grace
Walk through this world, and leave no trace
Wear many masks, take up no space
A divine apparition made manifest
Elusive form, can´t be addressed
Watchful presence, can´t be assessed
Lurking in shadows, quite unimpressed
She finds a Soul amidst the dark
Another ghost, but there´s a spark
Two carbon rods, electric arc
He joined with her, and left a mark
But then the ghost, he disappeared
The gaping hole was what she feared
He ripped the part where he adhered
And left her bare, he left her sheared
But on she went, fraught with distress
A trek through purgatory, at his behest
Encountering ghouls, surviving tests
Waiting for his mark to evanesce
Feel the emptiness that was his place
Wish it was something I could replace
Wish I had gotten just one embrace
Instead, I felt the coup de grâce
