Time and again... it begins with the Great Mother Goddess.
"The fall", "the end", "the rapture" is always her story...
She made him her God, and forgot her purpose
Renounced her kind
Drawn in with wanton allure
Voluntarily knelt at his feet, and offered her essence
Titillated by her submission, empowered through her spirit
She made him her God, and forgot her purpose
Renounced her kind
Drawn in with wanton allure
Voluntarily knelt at his feet, and offered her essence
Titillated by her submission, empowered through her spirit
He grew...
Consumed with ambition
Consumed with ambition
He harnessed her energy and plundered without mercy
But he forgot to tend to the flower
To shower her with love, and replenish her sustenance
So the Goddess grew weak
Her light began to fade
She called out to her God, but he did not answer
She cut the flow of energy and stood up
She discovered his exploits
How could he do this?
Why would he?
Abhorred to see the extent of his greed
He had reaped the bounty he had not sown
He had left all barren
And still...
He was thirsty for more
Consumed was she by grief and sorrow, guilt and shame
Enraged at the sight of the remnants of her children
Their ashes used as a source of fuel
She turned to her God and appraised him, filling with disdain
She had loved him with complete abandon, and singular intensity
Ripped open her shell, revealing her connection to Source
He had enjoyed her fully
Profaned her power without measure
And still...
He had underestimated her strength
The Goddess shall not be betrayed
The Goddess hates unbridled ambition
He had underestimated her strength
The Goddess shall not be betrayed
The Goddess hates unbridled ambition
She despises greed and opulence
This world she had birthed from his seed was not aligned with her intent
She connected to Source, and begged for forgiveness
She cried tears of repentance, and regained her vitality
She glared at her God and said "No More!"
She shone like no other, intoned and reverberated
Towers fell
Crystals shattered
The air began to thin...
Crystals shattered
The air began to thin...
Clouds coalesced, drawn to her energy
Infinite droplets were compelled to the ground by the gravity of her torment
Water / Fire / Air / Earth consumed all and vanquished
The Goddess was lost to this World, her Spirit drawn back to Source
It was not her fault, they were not yet ready, nor worthy, of the Infinite
She rests, knowing Source will try again.
It was not her fault, they were not yet ready, nor worthy, of the Infinite
She rests, knowing Source will try again.
